Coastal Inspired Weaving Workshop - 15th June @ Milton of Crathes

Join us for a fun and relaxing day with like-minded individuals and learn the addictive medium that is frame loom weaving. It has made a major comeback in the last few years and creating a wall hanging is an ideal piece to start your weaving journey.

No need to bring anything along, although it would be great for you to think about what the coast means to you… Perhaps it’s waves breaking on a rocky cliff, a marram swept golden coast or be directly inspired by the our idillic location by the River Dee at Milton of Crathes.

Learn how to warp your loom and weave whilst creating texture, then adding fringes and finishing techniques. Tons of yarns to choose from and you'll leave with your own unique woven wall hanging. Together we will transfer your vision to tapestry! All materials will be provided on the day.

Plenty of free parking and tea/coffee + snacks will be served.
