Natural Weaving Workshop - 13th July @ the Barn

During the workshop, participants will focus on maximising textures and finding their rhythm, while learning the fundamental techniques of weaving.Working directly in the Barn’s wild garden, opens the possibility of closely exploring the patterns and colour changes within our natural world. We will investigate hues together and translate these into a framed piece of fibre art to take home. The class is ideal for beginners and anyone over the age of 8yrs old, as no prior weaving experience is needed.

Stephanie Fradette is the fibre artist behind the brand “Le Petit Moose”, a nod to her French-Canadian roots.  The Aberdeenshire-based artist blends bold colours into her woven, knotted and tufted wall hangings, showcasing rich textures, contemporary design and craftsmanship.
